About Tau Gamma
The Oh So, Glamorous, Trendsetting, Tau Gamma Chapter, Kean University
The Tau Gamma Chapter was chartered on April 12, 2015, by 13 beautiful sorors on the campus of Kean University. Since it's the establishment, the chapter has been devoted to impact the lives of students, especially young women, within and around the campus community. The chapter has accomplished this through producing programs with student organizations, professionals, and other Greek-lettered organizations to address the issues and concerns that students face on university campuses like self-care, mental health, civil rights, budgeting, social acceptance, and academia. In addition to the on-campus programs, the chapter has established their reigns as Wreck the Yard step champions and has upheld excellence in community service. Aside from on-campus activities, Tau Gamma members have dedicated their talents to help the advancement of Sigma Gamma Rho through graphic design, serving as National Council of Negro Women Representatives, Youth Service Coordinators, Annie Neville Awardee, and more. The Tau Gamma chapter strives to achieve "Greater Service, Greater Progress" in all aspects of Sisterhood, Scholarship, and Service.
